Cap & Gown

Okay, so what colors are the cap and gown sets at your school?

For my school, girls have white and boys have blue. The girls wearing white seems very typical around here I think. It's what most schools around here do...

Girls wear green and boys wear white. Or it may be the other way around.

Those who aren’t honor grads wear red, honor grads (4.0 and above) wear white gowns with gold sash. Anyone in NHS gets the little stole thing. And anyone with above a 3.0 gets a yellow tassel, below 3.0 gets a red and white one (which I think is dumb, seeing as that most people have above a 3.0).

Girls get red, boys get blue.

Both girls and guys wore red at our graduation.

Blue for everyone

At my school its brown for the boys and white for the girls

Purple for the guys and White for the girls.
Also we are asked to wear black slacks and girls should wear white dresses.

Black for the guys, red for the girls, and white for the special graduates.

All of ours are Columbia blue. It gets kind of tacky around here if you ask me. One of the schools in my county has orange ones.

Green for all of us.

And each Honor Society has a special graduation chord.

I need to get a white dress to wear…

Wait, until now I’ve never heard of girls getting one color and guys getting another…why?

It adds color to the mass of students and you’re able to tell who is a girl and who is a guy. size=1[/size]

^Well true.

At my school girls wear white and boys wear black. I wish we all wore black, but oh well, it is a school tradition.
