Capped no money to do. Should I appeal SOMEONE READ APPEAL

Yea I know my brother goes there. Thank you I will take it into consideration

135pipe

I missed the deleted post so I cannot comment on “the appeal letter”, besides, I don’t even understand what’s here to appeal.
I did not say it before, but in my opinion, it’s not only ACT 25 in the bottom of 25%, its also ACT preparation class that helped to get this score. What score did you have before the class?

I was finally able to find out info about CAP besides very vague info on bealonghorn site, and from what I understood from 2013 report “The Performance of Students Attending The University of Texas at Austin as a Result of the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP). Students Applying as Freshmen 2010. Report 10”, CAP is offered on a very competitive basis to non 10% Texas students with HIGH STATS (NOT to everyone). You were lucky to be offered this program.

Here is also an interesting article with a lot of data
http://www.dailytexanonline.com/news/2012/10/07/total-transfers-via-cap-stay-low

If you are not happy with CAP, well, find another alternative for your life, don’t be like that loser Fisher. She really doesn’t deserve any respect, only pity.

I am sorry, if it sounds harsh.

Can someone explain to me what an appeal is and how to write one?
I have a 3.9 gpa and a 2000 SAT and got capped :frowning:
and i’m top 12%

Don’t take this person as a role model, treesandacorns…

Harsh @bodangles

OP your stats and activities aren’t that impressive. I don’t see your appeal being successful.
