<p>How reliable do you guys think those kinds of websites are? How well have they worked for you? Are they even giving realistic stats? </p>
<p>If you are asking about GPA and standardized test scores of admitted students, they are probably very accurate, because that data can be found on a college’s Common Data Set, which you can see for yourself. Almost all schools have this available on their web site, but there might not be an obvious link to it. Google it or do a site search instead.</p>
<p>If you’re asking about the scatter-gram type data (admitted vs rejected vs waitlisted) I believe that’s all self-reported. If there’s a lot of data, it’s probably kind of accurate. If there are only 20 points or so, I wouldn’t trust it.</p>
