careers: high paced, exhilarating, adrenaline producing!

my dad makes 100k+ as an engineer. i used to think that kind of money was no big deal, and i would find it as i worked to the top of any career. hahaha. now i'd be excited to hear that 60k can be made in x dream job. if i REALLY wasnt concerned with money i would do some of the following careers:

bike messenger - $25k/year (dude these guys are so awesome >>> http://youtube.com/watch?v=nR2ygFn-yR8 )
skydiving instructor - $35k/year
fighter pilot - $45k/year (45k is enough for me, but if you fail to become a fighter pilot you are still stuck in the military for 10 years. pwned)
outdoor trip leader - 20k?

so jobs along those lines would be my dream jobs, except i have yet to find any that can make decent money, or even advancement opportunities.

now for the relatively "boring" jobs i have thought about:

psychologist $60k
professor $80k
philosopher (ie, pizza delivery man) - 10k
computer science/engineering $80k
video game producer $0-1million
writer - $0
poker player - $20k-1million

bleh. none of those spend any time outdoors, or have much fun and excitement.

thoughts?

Your pay data is horrendously inaccurate.

Do what your passion is, the money will then follow.

Become a police officer with the Suffolk County Police Department. Being a cop is a great job, and Suffolk County pays really well. I think the starting salary is $57k and then moves up to $97k after 5 years of service.

Being a cop is my dream job, but my parents would kill me if I actually became one. I really think you should pursue a career in law enforcement if you want an exciting and fulfilling career.

well, if you are outdoorsy, you could just make your own survival show. those tend to pay well. go out in the wild and film yourself surviving under harsh conditions.

quite an adrenaline rush.

streetfighters earn a good chunk of change as well if you do it for money.

kimbo slice for example.

Park Ranger, they have awesome hats!
A cowboy, those are cool and you get to chew tobacco...
