Carleton graduate success in biology

Hi all

I have been accepted into Carleton as well as Wash U in St. Louis and Rice University. I would like to major in biology and earn my PhD in molecular biology at a top graduate school. What kind of doctoral programs do Carleton students get into? Also, are there research opportunities?

I really love the school but when comparing it with research universities I worry that carleton won't allow me to get into the graduate programs I hope to.

Thanks for the help!

Carleton is one of the top feeders into Ph.D programs in the nation across all disciplines (see [REED COLLEGE PHD PRODUCTIVITY](Doctoral Degree Productivity - Institutional Research - Reed College)). A brief search by “Carleton College Ph.D biology” with targeted file type being pdf documents reveals Carleton graduates at Bio programs at UChicago, Cornell, Berkeley, Stanford, UNC, and so on (see [carleton college biology "ph d " filetype:pdf - Google Search](carleton college biology "ph d " filetype:pdf - Google Search)). I am sure if you went in a more detailed search, you would get an even broader picture.
