Carmichael towers housing? Advice?

Hey guys,

I am an incoming junior transfer student. I recently received my housing placement.
I was placed in Carmichael Towers II - Single - 0516.

Was hoping that anybody at the school could give me some insight. Thanks!

I’m in a Towers single too next semester! I saw my room and really liked it. It’s not the biggest room, but for a single, I liked its size. Towers 2 is also a whole lot quieter than Towers 1. Towers also has a laundry room and a munchie mart, making it really convenient.

Towers is 4 tall tower buildings, with mostly singles and doubles in towers I and II, and suites in III and IV. Floors have communal bathrooms. Singles are pretty nice; they’re not enormous but they have enough room for all your stuff. It’s kind of an older “quintessential dorm” (think kinda ugly carpet, white cinderblock walls, fluorescent lights) but it has its own charm in a way. Good parts are that it’s a really convenient place to live since its close to classes, Rand, and right on west end, and a huge chunk of upper classmen live there (about 1200) so you’ll know people nearby. It’s also good because most transfers live in towers so you’ll live nearby the people you meet early on.
