For Transfer Students

Im a junior and I was wondering which dorm i most likely would get?
My choices were single, double

if you guys say kissam, then on moving day do we get help with moving our things into the dorms like the freshmen at the commons do or are we on our own.

how many story is Kissam and if they have an elevator?

thanks.

I don’t know about the dorms, but the transfer program coordinator says, yes, we will have help.

The dorms in Kissam are 4 stories w/ no elevator : (

How much help you will get depends on your dorm. Last year, there was a lot of help available in some dorms … but NONE in my D’s dorm. However, we were nice to the security guard & he told us where to find a nice flatbed dolly. Since Vandy-Barnard has elevators, the dolly was helpful!

Besides Kissam, what other dorms don’t have elevators?

I ask because I sprained my ankle pretty badly and I’m starting to think that I should alter my housing application to specifically request dorms with an elevator because getting up and down, but mostly down, stairs can be a hassle.
