I have never done a college interview in my life. Any tips?

What will we talk about? Should I buy him a drink for coming out? What should I wear? Yeah, it feels lame to worry about the interview so much, but I just can't help but feel nervous.

Try not to be nervous. They're not trying to trip you up or anything. Rarely will an interview make or break you.

Think of it as an exchange of information. The conversation should just flow. Familiarize yourself with some particulars of the school...for example you should know you apply to a specific school at CMU. Have a few questions ready; you could ask something specific about your proposed major (like research possibilities), the city of Pittsburgh, double majoring...anything.

Buying him something to drink...I think he will probably offer you one, I think that's more appropriate, but if not you could offer.

What to wear...don't know that one, sorry, other than be comfortable and not flashy.
