Carnegie Mellon or UNCSA

Which one to choose? Where would you go and why? ( Considering you could afford them both) this is for BFA Acting

Obviously, if you get into these schools you are pretty much amazing. Anyway, I would choose (for BFA Acting) UNCSA. They have no MT major so the actors are the preeminent candidates and they aren’t “competing” against the MT kids. UNCSA does do musicals so you have that aspect as well. Plus, the class at UNCSA is smaller (meaning more individual attention) because of the lack of MT kids. Plus, they have alumni constantly working. This is just my personal opinion.

But if you were got into both and wanted a stronger emphasis on MT, then I would totally go for CMU. Obviously, they have alumni in everything on Broadway and TV. CMU is part of a larger, more regular “college campus” so you feel like you are garnering that traditional experience. I think their MT program is the the best in the country (other than Michigan)…but you said BFA Acting…

Also. The weather. Just, that in itself. In my humble opinion, Winston-Salem beats the arctic tundra that is Pittsburgh, PA.

Anyway, both are PHENOMENAL choices. Any person would die to go to either. (This person included!!!)
