Carnegie Mellon vs USC for Business

I’ve been accepted to both the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie and Marshall School of Business at USC. I really love California and LA and would love to go to USC, but I live on the East Coast so I would be really far away fro home and have to pay for airfare everytime I want to travel back and forth. I received NMF half tuition Presidential scholarship at USC, in addition to another $3,750 scholarship. I would always be able to pursue a double major in business and comp sci at USC which would definetely make me more competitive for jobs.
However, I feel that Carnegie and Tepper are better academically and I’m not opposed to attending or living in Pittsburgh. I want to end up working in NYC and LA, so obviously USC has better connections in LA, but Carnegie is more renowned nationally.
I also was accepted to UT Austin and the Mccombs Business Honors program which is very difficult to get in and is also a great school, but i received no financial aid. I know Austin is a really cool place to live in so I am definetely considering the school as well.
What would be the best school to attend??

So USC is about $30,000 less per year than CMU? That’s a lot of airfare. Could you clarify that stat?

@Dunboyne I got approx $11,000 for cmu so $19,000 less per year.

Why is this a question? USC will be nearly $80,000 cheaper over 4 years for an education that is equally good with comparable “prestige”… obviously, USC.

USC is tied for #9 when it comes to undergraduate business programs, at least according to US News. That doesn’t seem too bad.
