While Carolina is extremely generous with aid, their Office of Finaid seems a little overwhelmed/disorganized.</p>

<p>Forget the last question, sorry. Today I received something in the mail about monthly payments. Did anyone else get it? Does anyone actually know what to do with it?</p>
<p>I got that too. I don’t think you need to sign up for that, because finaid comes in a lump sum before you have to pay the bill each semester, so monthly payments wouldn’t make sense</p>
<p>Just an update! I called today and found out that they are sending out the letters to the Covenant scholars either this week or next. They were delayed due to the partial federal gov’t lockout. </p>
<p>In regards to orientation, if you are a covenant scholar, which you can find out by calling, you’re orientation is paid for. There is an special option for covenant scholars that waives their fees when selecting payment options. Wait until you get the letter to register because once they mail it out, they send it to the office of new student affairs and your fees will be waived.</p>

<p>@oschelye he said we would get them by the end of next week at the very latest. I was sent the summer bridge application but I really didn’t pay attention to it :)</p>
