<p>hey guys, I called financial aid about orientation. If you’re in the carolina covenant thing, like i am, than you don’t have to pay for orientation. In fact, they pay for you and one parent to attend. They gave me a phone number to call, if you need it send me a message and ill send it to you. hope this helps some of you guys!</p>

<p>I actually got accepted to the Summer Bridge program…which you should totally find out more information and see if they are still accepting applications…so I will need to fill it out. I have to go June 12/13 and I don’t want to wait too long.</p>
<p>jamoretti, i also called and found out i was eligible for carolina covenant. however, i didnt see a defer payment option so i selected check/money order… it didnt ask for any information though. do you know how youre supposed to defer the cost?</p>

I havent signed up yet, but they told me while I was registering that I should call that number and they will tell me what to do. But according to twobittehz, wait until we get the letters of being a covenant scholar so when we sign on to our myunc page, the fee to pay for orientation will be waived. I’m just going to wait till next week to see if I get the package and if I don’t ill just call that number while im signing up for orientation.</p>
<p>Did anyone get a notice of revised financial aid? I called and they already said I’m Carolina covenant but I was wondering did anyone else have theirs “revised”?</p>

<p>yeah I did. I got two emails from them, which I’m kinda worried about. They already told me I was a Carolina Covenant, so I don’t know why they sent those emails. Maybe now when we log on tomorrow after 8 am it’ll say that we are?</p>
<p>I believe they are just declaring us as Carolina Covenant scholars. There is no way in… they can add any loans or things like that because of the federal government. Like you all Im confirmed too so I guess we’ll see haha.</p>

<p>The amount hasn’t changed or anything except they have a more in depth report. I see some new things that have been added :)!!! </p>

<p>My financial aid packet DID change, but for the better. My family contribution is is now 24 bucks lol. </p>
<p>I’m going to sign up for orientation soon and see if now they give me the option to waive the fee.</p>
