I’m pretty sure that there are around 60-70 finalists, but I’m not 100% sure.

My kid didn’t get the “semi-finalist” designation, so I’m assuming that meant she didn’t make it through the preliminary internal round, and if your kid did get the “semi-finalist” designation, that meant he made it through the preliminary round and his application was sent to the next round of nationwide judges for evaluation, but wasn’t deemed a finalist. Just my educated guess given there were some rejection emails with the “semi-finalist” language and some without it.
GM, Have any finalists heard back regarding decisions? Do they call or send a letter? Thanks in advance!
