carpet for room

Does anyone still have the letter about ordering carpet? Lost ours.

Can you provide the contact number?

Do you know if there is a link on the UMD site?

HAs anyone purchased through them? Satisfied?

Thanks.

Here is the link to both bed loft and carpet companies:

The flyer for ordering the carpet is a link found on that page

There is a Home Depot about 3 miles from the campus. The carpet is much cheaper (and a better selection) then the campus supplier.

Thank you.

If you do purchase through the university, I would suggest getting a smaller size than the school recommends. We purchased the suggested 10’ X 12’ size, and it was quite a job to get the carpet put down in the August heat, in a room with no A/C. You have to take everything out of the room to do it right. A smaller one would have been much easier!

Ikea also has cheap carpet and is right down the road

We found a cheap remnant at our local Lowe’s before we headed to campus that was great, and lasted 2 years before it was “retired”!!!

Got the recommended carpet last year and it was bigger than needed and it was pretty annoying putting it under the furniture. This year my roommate and I are going to find a good way to position the furniture and then go to Ikea or order a cheaper/more appropriate carpet.
