CAS Economics

If I major in Economics with CAS will I miss out on recruting opportunities, etc simply because I am not CSOM?

I asked a question simar to this one to a admissions officer when he was visiting my school. The CSOM and CAS economics programs are very similar and some of those classes actually overlap in those buildings, and CSOM and CAS economics students are sometimes in the same class. The CSOM economics differs from the CAS program in that it is less liberal arts oriented and more leaning towards the business and finance side of economics. The economics program at CSOM is really unique in tht way because many other business schools don’t have an economics major. Regardless of that fact, both programs are really good, and both have great professors. I don’t know too much about it cuz I don’t go to BC (yet). But I imagine that there must be some internships available if you are an Econ major at CAS
