CAS Language placement exams?

<p>Hi future and present NYUers!
Can anyone who has taken the CAS language exemption exam (specifically for french, but I guess any language would do) confirm that it's an old SAT II? I know that that has been stated on this forum. If so, is it just the french SAT II in the College Board book? Or is something that they've created in house? </p>

<p>It used to literally be an old actual SAT II, but I’m not sure if that is still the case</p>

<p>Right…I just wonder where they would have got it from if not from the College Board book? CB is so tightlipped about releasing subj test material that i can’t imagine they would give an unreleased test to NYU… </p>
