<p>If you look at the admissions requirement chart for CAS it says that it is required for applicants to have 3 units in ONE language. I was interested in ED CAS but I only took 1 year of french then switched to 2 years of Latin because of my inclination to history and Roman culture. The chart states that I should write a letter that explains my reason which I will happily do, but does such a record severely hurt my chances for admission to CAS? I'm a Canadian who wants to do biology in CAS btw...</p>

<p>I think you're fine. Hell I only had 3 years of English and I still got in. Those requirements aren't very strict. Go with a concise letter or incorporate it into one of your essays. Good luck!</p>
