Case or UD for pre-med?

I think I've narrowed it down to these two. As a pre-med, I think Case has the better program, especially since it's surrounded by several hospitals, namely Cleveland Clinic. However, U of Dayton would be quite a bit cheaper (12K cheaper than Case), and I could probably maintain a higher GPA, which I need for med school. I also think I might also have a more enjoyable and fun experience at UD; the social scene at Case seemed to be lacking. On the other hand, UD is only fifteen minutes from my house and less than five minutes from my HS, and I was planning to go away for college (would definitely live on campus, though). I also was accepted to U of Michigan, but it's extremely pricey. Any advice is welcome!

if fin AID is a big deciding factor, pick UD. you may have a harder time keeping an extremely high GPA at case, but it'll probably prepare you more. I think it also relies on which you prefer atmosphere wise

unfortunately i know nothing about Dayton, but i can tell you that Case is becoming well known for placing students into med school at high rates, so that's someowthing to think about if its important to you. Now i'm not really sure how this works out, but Case supposedly really makes you work for your GPA...So Case might be the perfect place if you really want to be serious about getting into med school, even if it does mean a slight downgrade in the social life(this is the dilemma i'm going through at the moment also)
