Case Western Class of 2019 EA Results

Just to be clear, the Case website states the “good standing” criterion for full tuition scholarships, too. I think the infor quoted from the collegeexpress link (post #357) is perhaps out of date. This is directly from the Case website:

Full-Tuition (Andrew Squire, Albert W. Smith, Adelbert Alumni, Alexander Treuhaft, and Warren E. Rupp), University, Michelson-Morley STEM, and Bolton Scholarships
The academic records of scholarship recipients are ordinarily reviewed at the end of each semester. To have a scholarship renewed for the following semester, the student must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.

General comments:
Honestly, I thought this was a big reach because of my GPA. I guess the app process really is holistic.

@FetinDZ‌

If you really like Case as your first choice, be sure to let admissions know. Case is one of those schools like Tulane, Tufts, etc. that does not like to be used as a safety school for students who really plan to go elsewhere. As a result, often it defers those about whom sincere interest is doubted. Your stats seem to make you a good candidate, so demonstrating ongoing interest - and making it known that Case is your absolute #1 choice - has a good chance of turning your deferral into an acceptance in the spring. Good luck!

General Comments:
I think I really wanna go there now and I got a $23000/year scholarship but my parents are saying if I don’t get accepted to their Pre Professional Scholars Program for medicine, it’d be a waste of money since tuition w the scholarship would still be like 20k. Plus I know I’m not gonna get into the program since like 1000 people apply and they only accept like 8. What do you guys think? Are they gonna give any more money… lol

Oh yah and my intended major so far is Biochem and minor in Spanish Language
