Hi everyone
I’m planning on applying for some of the merit scholarships offered by Case Western. On the website, only the Andrew and Eleanor Squire scholarship has any information about an on-campus interview. I’m wondering if all the scholarships require an on-campus interview if chosen as a finalist.
@bopper Thanks for replying.
I’m asking for the competitive ones. Do they all require an on campus interview if chosen as a finalist beisides the Andrew and Eleanor Squire one?
Unfortunately, if you are chosen as a finalist for one of these, you will have to find a way to come to campus for an interview. We do not offer any online options such as Skype and Google Chat at this point.
I hope that helps.
Best,
So this is exactly what he sent me. I’m not sure if I should still apply since there’s no way I’ll be able to make it to their campus in March or April.
Back in the day I remember Case having a bus taking students from the NYC area to campus for sscholarshp competitions. I have no idea what they do now. I would suggest applying and then seeing what happens.
Is this in conjunction with admitted students days?
Also ask here on CC if anyone has gone to campus for the competitive scholarships and how did it work?
@bopper I’m currently not in the US so that’s an issue.
Yes, I do have the time. Not sure about the payment though but I’ll apply and see what happens though. I may not even be chosen but let’s see.
Thanks for your reply
Do you think they invite for interview on April 1st? I am thinking that’s late. I thought they invite earlier than that and could announce on April 1st.
I’m confused. So if you got an interview for one of their competitive scholarships, the ones that require an on-campus interview, you will find out at 8 pm tomorrow with the admission decision?
Somehow I thought that was a separate notification?
