Catch 22

The situation is that I'm applying ED and I had one SAT II (math level 2 -780). So in November, I took SAT II for Biology and I have no idea how I did. This means I probably did bad (like in the 600s?).

I know that SAT II's are not required BUT compared to the competition (because WashU is so sexy and attracts smart people), they probably do send at least two SAT II's. So I'm just wondering if I should take the risk and send the SAT Biology score?

Thank you! <3

Go for it! you never know!!!

besides, you’re not actually in a Catch-22 situation since you may have done well. =)

ps. thats a great book

What if I get a 600?

I guess what I’m really asking is that what would hurt me more…

 1. Not having TWO SAT II tests (since almost everyone else is sending theirs in)
 2. Assuming I let it send and I get a 600

So yeah…which would hurt more?

@muppetsecks: Yeup, it is. =)

hmmm, I know ppl who got in ED who didn’t even send in any SAT II’s. So i think when they say its not required, it really isn’t required. If you feel you did do that badly, then forget it. But if you want to take that chance, then go for it. good luck

I wouldn’t send them. Since they’re really not required, I wouldn’t chance it. If you think you did badly, don’t send it. Good luck

lol i got a 540 on one of my SATII’s and i think i sent it into WashU anyway (I had stronger scores elsewhere :wink: )

According to the admissions department:

If it makes you feel better, don’t send it, but it can’t hurt. :)
