Heard this story on NPR this morning: http://www.npr.org/2014/11/05/361676946/charlottes-college-of-faith-lacks-a-campus-but-not-a-football-team

What exactly is the purpose of a college football team that needs to pay something as sketchy as the unaccredited "College of Faith" in order to have an opponent they can actually defeat? I find this appalling.

Davidson was a school I really wanted my kid to apply to, but he had no interest, and now I'm glad.

Can somebody explain how this type of thing jives with Davidson's much-lauded "Honor Code"?
