<p>It's time for College Confidential's student council elections!</p>

<p>I say we should elect two presidents (one male, one female) and two vice presidents (male and female).</p>

<p>Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Voicing students' opinions to the moderators
Serving as a role model for other posters
Serving as peer mediator
Holding meetings to discuss thread ideas, how to increase membership, etc.</p>

<p>You may nominate one person per category (and yes, you may nominate yourself). </p>

<p>Simply copy and paste this format with your selections:

<p>After 30 nominations have been reached per category, the top 2 contenders will be announced and given the opportunity to launch campaigns. If there are no clear cut finalists, another procedure will be announced. Nominees may choose to withdraw their names from the elections.</p>

<p>first, how will you tell what gender someone is. Second, why do we need a new beauracracy? (sp?). I don't see any real advantages to such a thing.</p>

<p>If we had leaders then this would be totally pointless. This place is great b/c no one has control over anyone else. Except for the moderators, who do their job and keep this forum clean (to some extent, heh heh). I BOYCOTT THIS THREAD!!!</p>
