CC Students, where do you want to transfer?

UC_Hopepul...yea it gets competitive, but only if you park in the ones near irvine center dr. I always park in the back and there's always space...I need the exercise anyway

Harvard
Yale
Stanford

i guess its just the price we pay to go to the #1 transfer CC this side of the mississippi.

i wonder if all the CC are this damn crowded face same probs w/ parking and enrollment. I read the smc newspaper it said that the enrollment is down citing rise in tuition cost and book costs. But looking at the campus i don't c the enrollment being down at all, seems like it has gone up lol. In my calc class they don't even have enough desks for all the students, 9 of them are forced to sit on chairs.

I agree with you fei... the walk is peaceful in the back too.

highschoolda... I don't know the exact reason for this, but I was told that this semester, the enrollment at our school decreased by about 500 students. At another college I go to, classes are being cancelled left and right due too poor enrollment.

I'm not sure if 500 is true or not, but I did notice a less violent parking lot and a less crowded computer lab! :D

in order...

1) UCB
2) USC
3) Pitzer
4) Santa Clara

there are a lot of people that hang out at the campus, but are not enrolled... you know that section across from the library right infront of the caton center? half of those kids arent enrolled. but that still doesnt explain the pain in the ass parking structure... no idea...

UChopeful: where do u go?

1.UCB
2.UCLA
3.UCSD

business/econ major..but heavily deciding whether or not to change to architecture..and if i DO get into UCB..ohh man, its like..should i go? or should i decline, spend anoher year prepping for architecture, and apply again? so confusing..

fei... same as you and RCC

o..I wanted to ask you a question...I am also planning to take some courses at a different community college...how does that work? What shows up on your transcript? and how do the UCs evaluate it?

You'll have two transcripts... one from each school. I've just started at RCC (on the 14th), so I'm not really quite sure yet how it is evaluated by the UCs. I am assuming that they treat it as one transcript by combining the two, at least for GPA purposes. Either way, I asked a counselor at our school and all she told me was that as long as the classes are UC-transferrable, then we should be ok.

bluealien01:
Yes. She will be tested for LD's through the Disability Center.
