I am currently living in San Diego, CA and I'm a freshmen at Mesa College. I am hoping to transfer in the winter quarter in 2007-08ish. Im currently trying to do everything what assist.org and IGETC courses says. I was just wondering is it possible to take some classes in Fall of 2007 and still be able to transfer winter? My CC goes by semester, so after xmas break I go to UCSB. The application is due July 1-31 of 2007

Yeah, you should be able to take classes in the fall, although I don't think they'll count on the GPA. There's a few winter transfers on the UCSB board, maybe they can help more.

Cool, what did pick for your major? If you do get accepted and plan to go there, are you going to live in dorms? Or do they have something for transfer students?

global studies & lingusitics. maybe dorms. i know an RA there right now so she might be able to help me out. i don't know how exactly it all works in the winter quarter though.
