When you transfer from a community college to a UC do you still fill out the same application forms as anyone else would? Do you still get a package from them with an acceptance (or not) letter, and financial aid summary? I thought I read on here somewhere that you don't get as much financial aid from UC if you are a TAG or transfer as a first year student. Is that true?</p>
