CCC chances, examine and impose ideas

Hey everybody, I was wondering if you can possibly evaluate me on my chances to transferring to any of the following schools with these stats.

College GPA: 3.4 with 42 units completed
Sat: 1000
ECS: Poli Sci club, Theatre club, Speech & Debate team (notable offices held for them)
Community: Volunteer for local high school speech team (100+ hours)

High school gpa: 3.3
ECs: Hell of alot

I'm involved with the Tap program and will have completed Igetc curriculum by the time I transfer. Realistically I will have a 3.7 gpa when I finish my fall semester. I'm also a philosophy major. I'm also considering doubling in either Political Science or History. I plan on attending law school, so if you have any suggestions on complimentary majors, that would be great. I don't mind the schools that are huge in numbers but would wish to have classes that have 20-25 students per class.

Possible Schools:
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCSD
Univ. of Michigan
Tufts University
Wesleyan University
Washington Univ. in St. Louis
NYU
Emory University
Franklin & Marshall College
Boston University

Bump! Bump! Bump!

I applied to NYU, BU, and BC as an econ major from Westchester Community College with a 3.7 on 44 units. I only got accepted to BU which I will be attending in the fall. My HS GPA was <1.0 but I had a 1310 on my SATs. I would say forget about a lot of those schools...

i think as long as you keep working on raising your gpa...preferably over 3.5 you might as give it a try! :)

Even if I attain a competitive gpa (3.7), would the sat weigh considerably more then my college performance? I will have over 60 units by spring?

It is really important to research the colleges you're interested in or you'll miss the boat. Transfers from a ccc to a UC do not submit SAT scores. High School records are not considered. Many things, however, are. There are lists of ccc admits and their GPAs, by major, available for all UCs. Pretty basic stuff.
