<p>So i attended a 4 year college this year but didn't do to hot. I want to go to a ccc and then transfer into a uc after two years. Is it possible to apply to a ccc and "disregard" my 1st year at the 4 year institution. Can I ask for that year to just be "ignored" and "start fresh?" Or if I apply will my grades from the 4 yr college transfer? If they do transfer would it be possible to just not tell them I went to college, say I took a year off from HS. If I did this could they find out, say through financial aid (I received financial aid my 1st year at the 4 year instution)? Thank you for your advice</p>
<p>If you have extenuating circumstances as to why you didn't do too good at the four year, I believe you can petition for academic reknewal. I think this is the best solution, rather than not telling your CCC of your past grades.</p>
