CCC vs UC to UC transfer

is CCC to UC transfer really that much harder than UC to UC?

It's the opposite; UC to UC is harder than CCC to UC.

errr thats what i meant.
anyone have any stats or details?
esp to UCB and UCSD

plus with CCC to UC transfer you get priority status...or so they say, anyway.

Transferring from a CCC is easier with the priority the UCs are obliged to give to said applicants. I don't think any of us can quantify the advantage, but instead just know that the edge exists for CCC students.

I got into UCSD from UC Merced with a 3.4 GPA.

is the TAG for CCCs only?

The evolution of the UC application process.

It starts with "What should I write for the third essay?"... will "which is easier for transfering, CCC to UC, or UC to UC?" be the final stage?

check here for TAG requirements:

Not only are transfer students from California Community Colleges (CCC) given priority for admission but, they are also given more information. the Assist.org site tells you what courses are transferable, okay not much of advantage since all UC courses are transferable to another UC campus. The assist.org site also tells CCC students the equivalent course at the UC level and proper courses to complete properly prepare for the intended major. Students planning a UC to UC transfer are not given this information and it makes the transfer process more difficult.
