Ccrb

How are the gyms at the CCRB? Is it open to all students (as long as with MCARD)? I was just curious since I'll be living nearby (stockwell) and will probably be going there a lot.

If you have an MCARD, you can get in.

The gyms are good. There are about 3 basketball courts, but at peak hours, you are gonna have to wait to play.

I rarely go to the treadmills or the gym, but they are all usually packed during the evening/weekends.

I've only used the CCRB this summer. The one major fault with is it the lack of girls who work out there. Well, I guess it doesn't matter for the OP though. IM building is much better.

where are the other good gyms on campus?

ccrb is the best. IM is a bit old and out of the way. NCRB is good from what I hear, but it's on north.

The CCRB is a great place to exercise and run and what not. It gets a bit busy during peak hours, but just go there when you have time between some classes.

Do they have a squash court in the CCRB?

I think so, squash is the sport where there's a small room and you hit a ball against the wall right?

I'm sure they would all be staring at your ripped guns with puppy eyes.

don't worry about girls.
once the fall semester starts, the treadmill/cardio room will be filled with girls. and yes, good looking ones.

Too bad they're downstairs and secluded from the actual gym w/ weights
(no, the room with the nautilus equipments do not qualify as a gym :)). I'm always in the 2 rooms with the free weights and bars so this doesn't help me. Then again, I won't really care for women when working out.

If you go to Lifetime or something like that, the CCRB is terrible. Basically, it gets you a workout. Other than that, it sucks.
