These are some of the classes I plan to take when I enroll to partially satisfy UCB’s EECS major requirements. I am unsure what other classes to take fulfill them, and I couldn’t find a class similar to any of those in the ethics requirements of EECS. Also, are the CS classes UC transferrable without the “UC-” mark? Any suggestions for my future schedule would greatly be appreciated.

You need CCSF PHYC 4C/4CL and 4D/4DL to cover UCB PHYSICS 7C.

For UCB ENGLISH R1B, you need just one of CCSF ENGL 1B, ENGL 1C, SPCH 2.

If you can get to Laney and/or Diablo Valley, you should be able to cover UCB CS 61A, 61B, 61C better than you can at CCSF.

You probably want to take two additional humanities and social studies courses (beyond the English composition ones) before transfer. UCB engineering requires six total (two upper division) to graduate, so that completing two more beyond the two English composition courses will leave you only the two upper division ones to complete after transfer.

Thank you. I didn’t know you could compare courses together. Also, upper division courses are taken at UCB right? or taken at the school transferred from?

To add:
Sciences:
PHYC 4AL Mechanics Laboratory for Scientists and Engineers
PHYC 4BL Electromagnetism Laboratory for Scientists and Engineers

PHYC 4CL Waves and Thermodynamics Laboratory for S&E

PHYC 4D & 4DL

To remove:
MATH 115
ENGL 1C

Assuming I pass both AP exams, I’d have 15 classes to take overall, so I have 1 left for fall/spring and I can take 2 in one summer.

Assist.org is your friend. Become intimately familiar with it. It will tell you exactly what courses satisfy the pre-reqs for a given major at a given UC at any California community college.

Go to assist.org. Select the school you’re attending. Select the school you wish to transfer to. Select the major you hope to study. Then you’ll see what articulates at CCSF for UCB’s EECS.

If CCSF is missing pre-reqs, check other area schools on assist.org like Laney and Diablo.

Upper division courses aren’t offered at community colleges.

Thank you. I’ve been using assist.org, and I believe I’m good with the required core courses. However, I lack in strongly recommended courses, other than CS 111C at CCSF. Is it possible to take summer classes at UCB like concurrent enrollment?
