Cell Phone Service?

I'm from Texas, and I really need to know what wireless service works best in Williamstown? HELP!!!

I've heard that Verizon works really well.

I'm sort of pondering the cell phone issue, too. I'm so excited because for the first time I will get to have a cell phone this fall! Looking at these forums, the general consensus is that Verizon is the best. Sprint supposedly works alright, too.

I guess I am leaning towards Verizon, but I'm quite convincable. This is all a bit confusing for me because my family has not owned a cell phone...

I have Sprint now in Atlanta... when I visited Williams it was fine... I'm going to stick with Sprint for now but if I need to switch to Verizon in the future it's not a big deal.

I guess with the cell phone issue it's a personal preference. Plus a lot has to do with different receptions of different companies at our different hometowns.

I was leaning towards Verizon until I learned that it didn't serve my "home" area. Sprint does and it apparently works in Williamstown, too. So it looks like I'll be going for sprint!

I wish there was just one cell phone provider which the government regulated like in Europe. Think how nice it would be if all the towers cooperated under one company!

Hmm...That's strange. I thought Sprint didn't work up here, but I know that both Cingular and Verizon work exceptionally well. It could be the fact that the cell phone towers are near or on-campus somewhere for those two companies.
