I'm an international student planning on getting a cell phone come september. Simply put, i'm looking for some advice on the cheapest service available that has good reception around ucla.</p>
<p>what plans/service providers do you use, and how much does it cost you? I'm looking for just calls and texting at the most affordable rate (i don't really use my phone that much). none of the 3g wifi for me, thanks!</p>
<p>cheapest plans are probably tmobile. their service is OK, but at&t and verizon get more coverage.</p>
<p>if you really dont use it that much, it might be more cost effective for you to go prepaid.</p>
