<p>What phone company has the best cell phone service coverage on the Dartmouth campus/in Hanover? I currently have Cingular...are any current students aware of the Cingular coverage? Thanks</p>
<p>Cingular works well in Hanover, when you're in town. It's not quite as good as verizon coverage once you leave town, and get into more rural areas, but if you're staying on campus, you will be fine. Most people in the area have verizon service, but that's just what's easily available up here.</p>

<p>I have a few friends with sprint, and they also seem to get good cell service in town. On campus, I don't think there are any cell carriers that don't work (that I know of). There seems to be good GSM and CDMA in Hanover. Going north into various parts of vermont and new hampshire starts to get less reliable though. As a Dartmouth student though, it shouldn't be an issue.</p>
<p>Two summers ago, Sprint had AWFUL coverage, but last summer it worked perfectly fine, so I assume they fixed up the network near Hanover.</p>

<p>BIG NO NO....DO NOT TAKE T-MOBILE UP THERE...it will drop calls and they service is horrible....go for verizon....it works great up there</p>
