Hi, I am an international student. I applied to these schools and already got into some of them. I have no major preference right now and I have researched this schools and I am finding it difficult to choose one.
Can anybody who attends this schools, knows them, or has any kind of experience with them tell me about them and what is their opinion?
I live really far away from all of them so it will be far to visit them.
Thanks a lot!

i believe trinity is in San Antonio, which is a great city.

so go there :D

Well, the location isn’t that important for me. What I really care is the college itself. The academic level and the student activities

please help me to choose, I am really confused now

I don’t know anything about Trinity, only Centre (which is where my sister’s boyfriend goes and where quite a few of my high school acquaintances went).

Centre is a fine school, probably the best in Kentucky. It attracts a lot of really bright students because it gives lucrative scholarships to in-state students who are National Merit Semifinalists and such. The students do tend to be disproportionately from Kentucky, so as an international student, you might get a bit of culture shock.

Trinity has a very good reputation and is a very nice school. It is in an urban location a few miles from downtown in a nice residential area. The campus is mainly red brick buildings on a hill overlooking downtown. The university hosts quite a few concerts and speakers in their very nice auditorium. I live in San Antonio and two girls from my church go there right now. One is a senior studying chemistry and she was accepted to quite a few excellent graduate schools with tuition and expenses paid for. The other plays on the Trinity basketball team and enjoys that. I’m not a student but the people who go there seem to be very nice and somewhat conservative (no one with blue hair). The school doesn’t appear to have a lot of international students. I’m sure you can get the numbers of international students if you prefer to be around people from your home country. I don’t think you can go wrong with Trinity.

I don’t know too much about Centre other than a D of a friend went there. She loved it and the only complaint I heard was that there was a lot of drinking which she didn’t really like. She went to law school after graduating.

Good luck with your decision.

To be honest, I don’t really know much about either school. I’ve heard good things about Trinity, and I’ve been to their campus several times for cross country and track practices, but that’s about it.

I can speak for the location, however. I know you said the location isn’t that important for you, but I think you will find San Antonio to be a very nice city (one of the most underrated cities in the US IMO). It’s a world class city with lots to do, and it’s only an hour and a half drive from another great, world class city–Austin.
