<p>I just checked my calpoly housing on the portal and found out that Im in the Hollister dorms at Cerro Vista. Is anybody else in my building and if not where did you get assigned?</p>
<p>My son is in Cabrillo in Cerro Vista.</p>
<p>My son is in Muir, his 3rd choice behind Sierra Madre & Santa Lucia. He was ED and submitted his preferences, including a room mate, this first day he could. Payment was made within a few weeks. Yet, he did not get what he wanted.</p>
<p>I got into the santa lucia building in a triple!! arghhh!</p>
<p>My son is in Cerro Vista - Islay building…he’s very happy about it. He committed and we paid as early as we could - don’t know if that helped.</p>
<p>My son is in Cabrillo in Cerro Vista too. His first choice was Santa Lucia. I think he got into Cerro Vista because he and his best friend indicated they wanted to be roommates, and the best friend was accepted into the honors college. S is happy to be in Cerro Vista.</p>

<p>Does it happen often at Cal Poly? And is there any way to get a double or once they’ve made your assignment it is 100% final?</p>

<p>Around spring. I think that’s considered kinda late…wow it seems like you registered quite early. Suprising that you got a triple. So i’m guessing that you’re into engineering since you’re in santa lucia right?</p>

<p>I think all the north mountain and south mountain halls have triples. Sierra madre and yosemite have doubles.</p>
