Certification of Finances

Hi, everybody,
I've just got the Certification of Finances via email.
I wonder which office I have to send it back: The Office of Financial Aid or the Dean's Office to the International Student Advisor.
Can I attach the bank statement to the Form because the bank might not agree to give certification on the Form (not enough space).
Thanks

Hey NVP
Did you get accepted from the waitlist? Congratulations!

I sent my certification of finances to the dean's office. I am yet to hear whether they have received it or not. It seems we cannot contact them via email. I still am not sure whether I did the right thing. Could someone advise?

And yes, what I am sure of is that you can attach the bank statement to the form. It's written somewhere.

wait---they've gone to their waitlist?

I tend to think that, since it's dealing with finances/ in relation to financial aid, you should send it directly to the Financial Aid Office -- the dean's office may just forward it there after receiving it anyway. Here is the international students advisor's email if you'd like to ask her any questions:
gina.coleman@williams.edu or Gina.M.Coleman@williams.edu

(When you say you "cannot contact them via email," does that mean you just didn't have the email address, or you were told not to contact her via email? Otherwise, you could email the Financial Aid Office directly -- when I send them an email I get a response within one business day: finaid@williams.edu )

Thanks, Bocca and Onemoremom.
No, it's not from the waitlist,Jerushs.

Onemoremom, I had emailed the admissions office requesting whether they had received my certification of finances/immigration form, which I had mailed to the Dean's office. They asked me to contact the dean's office directly via phone. I doubt that the Dean's office entertains emails.

Hi, Bocca,
Did you use the form they sent via email? I wonder if they will send a hard copy form (because they said use the orginal form). Also they instruct us to fill out the form from Item 2... Why not Item 1?
Thanks.

Item 1 should have already been filled by the college, I believe.

No, I doubt that they'll be sending the CoF form via mail. When they say original form, I believe they mean that the bank's stamps, parents' signatures etc. must be original, ie they'll not accept a photocopy of the form(which is the norm with all finaid documents at most colleges).

By the way, how is it that you received your financial aid email so late? I believe you were accepted RD?
