I took the CFA at the NASS. I think that I did alright. Will the usna notify me if i passed or failed. Should I retake it if I think that I could do better?
How can I find out the results of the CFA that I took at the nass?
Thanks

mdlrnc,

If you are competitive and are qualified academically and medically, the academy will notify you if there is a problem with your CFA. The admissions office will tell you which part(s) of the CFA is of concern and ask you to retake the test.

You NASS squad leader would have recorded your CFA results then entered them into the Candidate Information System. You should know how you did on each of the five activities. Since the minimum requirements aren't published, you just need to do your best.

I would only retake the test if you think you (1) did poorly on one or more sections and (2) believe you can significantly improve your performance in that area. The test is Pass/Fail and you'll be told if you failed. You can get some "bonus points" for very high scores in certain areas. However, if you passed, it really may not be worth the effort to retake the test to get those higher scores. That said, if something affected your initial performance or you're in much, much better shape now and really can improve, go for it!

I think pull-ups and the run, but don't quote me on this. And you'll get a lot more bonus points for high class rank, etc.
