Chance a Bad High School Career

2.7 GPA UW
3.2 W

2000 SAT
30 ACT
Planning on taking Subject Tests come October and retaking ACT's to see if I can break 32+

In state but super scared I won't get in to my Instate safety that everyone get's into

Plenty of Extra Curriculars and Leadership positions throughout them.

I really got distracted throughout high school and by the time it mattered it was senior year.

Looking at straight A's first semester and first marking period both are sent by my school.

Help please.

2000 SAT and 3.2 W you’re probably ok.

But why do you want strangers to chance your life? You seem like you’re making a good effort. Continue that and you will do well, regardless of where you start out in college. You don’t need help, you’re fine.

Sorry for the late response. Thanks for the reassuring words. I have submitted my application as of 10/19 and still no response. I expected to know pretty quickly as an instate student. Hopefully Ill have good news soon.

And like I tell everyone else: have a backup plan in case you don’t get in. Sometimes you need to spend 1 or 2 years in community college to get your grades up, then you can transfer into Rutgers. I have seen many students do this. I did this.

Good luck!

You would easily get in. Why is there even a question?

I dont know honestly they haven’t responded yet and its getting me antsy.

It still says in progress. Im in state and I’m freaking out…

Can take several weeks to hear back. Don’t worry if people who applied after you get accepted before you. Happens a lot.

If it still says in process does that mean they haven’t even looked it at it or a placeholder for rejection ?

Sorry I’m just freaking out here…

bump

In process means everything needed has been received. Don’t freak out, it’s really a waste of energy.

btw ‘everyone’ does not get into Rutgers. It’s a safety if you have excellent grades and SATs.

Always have a plan B and then there is no need to worry.

Hey just wanted to report back that I did indeed receive admission to RU- SAS New Brunswick.

Thank you all for the support

Congratulations, and thanks for reporting back.
