Chance a Brown hopeful? :D Also other schools, too. Yeah.

Hey everyone - Brown's been my top choice since 8th grade. Lately I've been feeling like I don't have the best chances, so I have plenty of other schools I'm looking at, but I'm just wondering if anyone has thoughts or opinions about my chances, or lack thereof. :)

Other schools: Tufts, William and Mary, Georgetown, Northwestern, UMich, UVA, UNC, Oberlin, Kenyon

Female, caucasian, 200k+ income bracket
GPA: 4.2 W, 3.7ish UW (I don't know exactly; my guidance department won't get back to me)
Rank: Just in the top 10%, maybe. My guidance department refuses to tell me, haha. Let's just say I slacked off a bit freshman and sophomore year.
ACT: 32, 33 superscored. Best scores: 36 English, 29 Math, 36 Reading, 30 Science, 12 Writing
SAT I: Haven't taken yet
SAT II: 790 Literature, 760 US History
AP's: 5 World History, 5 USH

School type: Small Catholic (750 students total). Seldom/never sends kids to Ivies.
Intended major: English

Senior year courses:
AP US Government
AP Literature
AP Psychology
AP Calculus (I'm terrified about this)
Spanish 4-H
Religion 4 - Intensive Studies Option (new class; like an honors, largely discussion based course)
Intro to Theater (This is my blow-off. But I do love theater. It's kind of like another lit class, we're going to read a lot of plays.)

EC's:

-Violin lessons (11 years)
-Community youth orchestra (7 years): I've been very involved with my orchestra. I'm in the first violin section, and my involvement includes traveling to and performing in Spain with the orchestra and participating in plenty of orchestra fundraisers and the like. I participated in our concerto competition. Did not win. But it was a good experience.
-National Honor Society (11, 12): Officer - Director of Public Affairs. Our NHS chapter is one of the best in the country. We frequently win service project awards and present at leadership conferences.
-Spanish Honor Society (10, 11, 12): I'm the co-president. We don't really do much, but I hope to change that.
-Pit Orchestra (9, 10, 11, 12): I'll be the first chair violin this year. Huzzah. I've been a first violin all four years, and the pit director loves me.
-Model United Nations (11, 12)
-Scholastic Bowl (10, 11, 12)
-I MC'ed our school's variety show with no prior on-stage experience in high school. It was a very student-run production - the MC's (4 of us) wrote all the skits in between performances, etc. I'll be MC'ing again this year.
-Key Club (9, 10, 11, 12): lots of volunteering through this organization.
-Church: I've been an acolyte (altar server) for 7 or so years, and I also help organize church events like the yard sale. I also help our priest with making posters and things.
-Student Council (11): I ran for office and won. I wrote a kick-butt speech. But our StuCo does practically nothing, besides planning prom. Our prom was very good, however. I declined to run senior year, even though plenty of people urged me to.

Other/summer:
-I attended Summer @ Brown this year. Had an awesome time. I know colleges don't really seem to look at this, but my course really altered my perspective of what I want to do with my life. I want to make people laugh, dammit. :)
-I've helped out (and gotten paid for it) at a chamber music camp at the local music center. I've watched kids during lunch and free time and helped them practice their pieces, etc.
-I traveled to Paris with a school group. Not really educational in nature, but my teacher made the mistake of thinking I speak French, so he sent me in to talk to some locals... that was an experience.
-Attended a fine arts camp for 4 summers in a row.

Awards and whatever:

PSAT: 214 (commended, maybe Semifinalist if the gods are feeling generous)
-Selected to be on my school's WYSE team (it's kind of a big deal, all the smartest kids are selected for it. however, MUN was at the same time as the competition, so no dice)
-Artwork published in our school's literary magazine
-Read for a Lifetime (it's an Illinois thing. really stupid. but if you read a few books all 4 years, it's kind of a thing?)
-Division I in Solo and Ensemble
-Other really stupid ones. I kind of lack interesting awards.

Recommendations: Should be very good. APUSH/Gov teacher has taken me on school trips before, so knows me pretty well. Bio teacher loves me, would love to write a rec. Quite a few options. Don't really know my guidance counselors too well, but they should write something nice, too.

Essay: ...Um, I haven't really thought of a topic yet. But writing has always been one of my strengths, so I suspect I'll crank out a good one when I think of something.

Random thing: I'm pretty good at art. So I don't know whether to submit an arts supplement or not. I don't know whether it would be worth it. I'm not planning on majoring.

Thanks in advance!! You are all lovely people :)
Be honest. I can take it.

I think you have a decent enough chance. I suggest you begin writing your essay, though, instead of waiting for inspiration to strike. Believe me from personal experience, sometimes it never does.
