chance a clueless student?

<p>I applied RD for CMC but I have absolutely no idea if I have a shot or not so I'd REALLY appreciate it if you guys could chance me! I attend a competitive international school in Tokyo, Japan.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.48 (weighted) (I know this is really low, but my grades have been improving in an upward trend. freshman: 3.02, sophomore: 3.55, junior: 3.86.
right now as a senior i have a 3.8</p>

<p>AP Classes (at my school you can only take them starting Junior year): US History, English Language and Composition, Macroeconomics. I also self-studied for Microecnomics and Japanese.
Currently Taking: Honors English, Japan Seminar (an honors course offered uniquely at my school), AP Environmental Science, AP Statistics, and AP French.</p>

(English: 32, Math: 34, Reading: 33, Science: 35, Combined English/Writing: 29)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-varsity swim team all 4 years and captain junior & senior year
-club called abot kamay all 4 years where i went to Thailand for a service trip. leader of the club junior & senior year
-treasurer of my school's GSSA club
-worked for the past 4 summers as a camp counselor at a summer camp hosted by my school
-developmental gymnatics assistant coach
-elementary school swim team assistant coach</p>

<p>Essay: definitely unique, but i realized that i made a grammatical mistake that's pretty obvious so i don't know how effective it'll be</p>

<p>Hey, hityy2, your stats indicate that you far from clueless. You seem like a good candidate for admission. Did you state in your application why you would like to attend CMC and why the school would be a good fit for you? If someone has a good reason for wanting to go to CMC, I think it is helpful.</p>

<p>Thank you! In the really short answer question about why CMC I talked about how its emphasis on leadership is appealing and necessary for the professional field I want to get into (international relations). In my long analytical essay, I ended it with how I’d like to further advise my leader of choice by developing my own leadership skills at CMC so that my advice would be more reliable. I know it sounds general but I just don’t want to give away too much of my essay.</p>
