I am a NJ resident attending a community college in Jersey and I am currently enrolled in summer classes and have 1 semester left before I am finally done with this place. I actually used to go to Monmouth University years ago but didn't do well and had financial issues so I withdrew and started working. I am studying Accounting and I was just wondering what my chances are if I apply for admissions into Spring 2014.

My cumulative GPA at Bergen Community College is a 3.7. Is there really any other information that is needed when it comes to an OOS transfer student?

If you’ll have your AA, that’s a good start.

Just keep in mind that Accounting at FSU is Limited Access, meaning that it is pretty difficult to transfer into. If you have your AA though, meet all of the pre-reqs, and maintain that 3.7 GPA, you should be good.

Accounting is a Limited Access major so it’s tough even for in-state people to get in even as transfers.
I know an OOS student who got into a Limited Access program here but she had a 4.0 at her CC, a great story, lots of work experience while attending, and she had lots of experience already in the field for her intended major which put her in the running and got her accepted.
