<p>You are hispanic. That will greatly help you. Also, your ECs are okay and your scores/awards are good. I say you have a good chance.</p>

<p>I’m not trying to generalize races, but you are the cream of your crop. You are somewhat a UM. If you go ED, you will definitely get in. There was an African-American applicant somewhere on these forums that got a 2400 and got into all HYPSM. You’re very close to that, and you’re also a UM. Have fun at Rice! </p>

<p>A 2270 makes one “cream of the crop” regardless of “race”/ethnicity.</p>
