Applying to LSA

Did you recalculate your GPA the U of M way?

First, ignore freshmen year. Then:

A +/- = 4
B +/- = 3
Etc.

If you are at a 3.6 still, then I would say you have a decent shot (if you school is highly ranked and well known, then you have a great shot). Being OOS doesn’t help, but your ACT is excellent. Your ECs are solid, so I would say with good essays you will make it in. Do you know your class rank? If you are in the top 10% or top 15% then you have really great chances. If only the top 25%, then you have average chances.

Apply early :slight_smile: It helps. And good luck!

PM me which one. There are top new england privates, and then there are TOP new england privates, and then there are the REAL TOP new england privates. Without knowing that, any prediction is meaningless.

If you dont feel like revealing, give a list, say school in the range of school in the range of kent, NMH and the likes; or school in the range of taft, loomis; or schools in the range of andover, exeter, choate, SPS, hotchkiss, Milton and similar;

anyway without getting further information, i would venture to say it’s not the REAL TOP ones, since they have average in the 2000s. so it’s either the first or the second group.

If your school in the kent, NMH range, it’d be a match.

If your school is in the taft, loomis range, it’d be a safe match.

Also, why are you asking here? Ask your college advisor… They know your school’s profile the best.
