I've applied to a numerous amount of summer programs (pre-college/internships/etc.) so hopefully one of those works out

Nothing too spectacular…but there is stuff I haven’t mentioned…Oh well, I’ll hope for the best!

any advice/incite would be greatly appreciated

insight*..haha its been a long week.

You are definitely qualified to go to Yale. But everything seems boring/average except maybe "Individual Research Work in Nanobiotechnology Field" as a minor tip. Then again it's up to you how you sell that. The way you describe your work can make it anywhere from an over-glorified science project to a passion.

What region are you from? What's your socioeconomic background?

Northern Virginia.
White Male; def. not going to get financial aid.

and trust me its not an over-glorified science project. The specialized sci/math school i attend has this 3-year independent research course and I could prob. get my work published by the end of senior year if it goes smoothly. in fact, soon i'm going to use HHMI's SEM to image some of my work soon. Im electrospinning nanofibrous scaffolds for use in tissue engineering...as a junior! Preeeetty cool stuff...

Go for it then. If you can get that work published it could be your applications 'theme'.

As far as region goes I guess it's pretty competitive. I lived in Fairfax just so you know I'm not puling this from nowhere lol.

Yeah GL
