Are you seriously nervous about getting into Irvine? I would be more worried about Berkeley. Even at Berkeley, I’d say you have an excellent shot.

Oh and I have a change to make, I’m sorry but I accidentally put the word “tentative” next to the Senior Schedule section. Those are actually the classes i’m taking right now.

Thanks for the chance cali!

My main worry was my bad GPA, which was due to 1 D, 1 F, and 1 C in the first sem of my sophomore year.

And what would by chances be for Comp Sci/Eng? It doesn’t really matter since everything’s been sent, but I’m having regrets on applying to Business Econ rather than Comp Sci/Eng.

Business Econ isn’t impacted at UCI, but the changing major process is pretty simple. Just make sure you decide before or during SPOP (Orientation).

It depends on the major, and I don’t know if the ICS major and the engineering majors are impacted. But assuming that they aren’t, then it is easy as cake.

My understanding is that you really can’t switch into an engineering major, simply because the standards for admission are higher. To get into an engineering major, both UCI and the School of Engineering have to admit you separately.

If you want to do Comp Sci/Eng, you need to send a message to your academic counselor through the prospective student messaging system, which you can reach by logging in here:
