Chance a pretty mediocre High-Schooler

all right, so I'm thinking of applying to these colleges' six/seven year BA/MD programs:

Boston U, George WashU, Tufts U (leaning most heavily towards Tufts)

So here's my stats

(just finished soph year)

sophomore PSAT: 76 CR, 72 M, 73 W

SAT: 720 CR, 700 M, 800 W (80 on MC and 10 on essay)

ACT: 33 ( 36 E, 34 M, 32 R, 30 S--ran out of time on the Science)

GPA: 4.3 W, 3.8 UW (slacked off freshman year, there's an upward trend in grades)

rank: not too shabby, i think maybe top 10%

extra currics

2 years on cross country team
7 years playing piano
3 years working at my Dad's hospital/office
400+ hours of community service
Eagle Scout (don't have it yet, but assume i do because I'm pretty near to getting it)

killer recs (one from my Harvard Summer School Chemistry professor) and from my science teachers at school

What do you guys think? Do I have a shot at these programs? Or should I think of setting my sights lower? Do you have any recommendations for any other six year programs?

Thanks for your time! =)

great stats, you should be in

In at BU and GWU, and probably in at Tufts. Tufts can sometimes be quite arbitrary with their admissions... I've seen several cases in which people were accepted at HYPS but rejected at Tufts.

way to be super modest in the title.

Near match for all listed. not including how well you do on your essay in the equation.

NeoEpisteme does make a good point with tufts as well

i'm sorry rararachit, i didn't want to come off as an arrogant little asian kid from the bowels of the United States.
Actually, to think of it- I am extremely mediocre. Look at all those kids walking around with 2350+ Sats, Intel Science Scholarships, and go-aheads to HYPS...I feel pretty small when I read about them

That's why I feel like I have less of a chance...I feel like everybody's better and that I can never do better than what I already am

Oh, and my GPA is a lot lower than somebody who is looking at an Ivy League, so I'm not considering any of those colleges b/c I think I've got no chance in heck

StrangeIndianFoo: you too! Man I feel depressed on some of these chance threads too. It's good to know I'm not the only one!

It's nice to hear that, ivyleaguewannabe

I try not to think about it, but it's just so overwhelming when you try so hard and everybody else seems to do better
oh well.
