Chances please?

Oh and i have only taken ACT 31 composite. I took SAT2- Lit-740, Math 2- 780, Bio- 770

you look like a pretty good candidate for Rice and UT.
did you go to the Rice reception at the Post Oak Hilton?

UCF? Central Florida is a good school and all, but trust me, you can do way better. My sister got in with lower stats than that. UF is a much better school. I wouldn’t waste your time with UCF, you’d get in easy with that. Her SAT’s were way down too. But hey, it’s all up to you. You look like a good candidate. Those schools like that music. You can go big, good luck

Well, if money is not an issue, I would say that you have a very good chance at most of the schools, but Harvard and Duke will always be tough.

I visited UCF and I enjoy the area alot. UF has too many people for my liking. My GC is making me apply to Duke, but i really dont want to go. BUMP

I don’t think Duke is the place to go right now. What school do you go to here? Strake?

I don’t know how much socio-econ status factors into anything, but what I do think is that you’re still shooting a bit low. Exclude your race and status and apply to places where you want to go and where you think you can go. Make an actual college list with reaches, matches and safeties…

Sorry if I offended you.

dear lord!!! 800K a year???..wow

but anywho, good chances. But you might want to retake the ACT.

i got into harvard and my stats/background were very similar to yours. i say, don’t let anybody short change you. i think you have a good chance at any of those schools. take the SATI though. i got a 31 on the ACT then got a 2200 on the SAT (32-33 on the ACT scale) so who knows…

Rice(ed)-no idea
UT Austin-in (consider plan II)
Harvard-reach
Northeastern-in
Northwestern-slight reach
Wake Forest-match
Duke-reachy
Elon-no idea
UCF-in
UVA- (oos) reach
William and Mary- no idea

just my opinion.
