Your EC’s don’t have a ‘trend’, if you will. My sister had a 3.5 GPA and 690 on the Math section of the SAT and got in because of the interview. She talked about how she participated in all these ‘financy’ competitions and financy groups in her school. So definitely try to get an interview. I’ll read your essay. mwu8@gmx.com

Umm, the interview? I think you’re confused- NYU does not offer or consider interviews.

NYU definitely doesn’t give interviews. So I’m not sure how your sister got in via an interview if NYU doesn’t have any interviews…

Your GPA is somehow low, but only very slightly.

EC’s could use some improvement

GPA is a bit low but it isn’t low to the point where it ruins your application your SAT is solid and your an international student so I believe you have an edge there. Because of this I would say you honestly have a 50-50 shot because a low GPA but SAT and international student edge.

I’m 100% sure stern gives interviews 100%.

I am positive that at the undergraduate level an interview isn’t available however, maybe for Stern graduate admissions there is one.

@dseed332 I am 100% positive that Stern does NOT give interviews; as a graduate of NYU who spent many years there and who has and had many friends in Stern, I would know.

I don’t know where you got the idea that NYU does have interviews, but they definitely do not.

Try finding where it says anything about an interview on the Undergraduate Admissions website:

Stern doesn’t even give interviews for graduate admissions.

Dseed332- are you sure youre not getting NYU confused with York University or SUNY?
