Thank you for your feedback! I chanced you back!

I would appreciate more advice, and I’m ready to chance back at any time. :)

Thanks for chancing me!

Your grades are good, perfect unweighted GPa wow. Ecs are strong but pretty normal for Ivy League applicants. So try to make yourself stand out as an international. If you do early decision brown you have a good chance because it likes international, Cornell too. Rutgers is a guarantee safety and I know they like international students because I live really close to it. Good luck!

Thank you!

Anyone please chance me, I will chance you back.

I simply don’t understand why people apply to all of the top tier schools. Most of them have completely different atmospheres. I advise looking into the actual schools and their websites rather than just looking at the us news top 100 schools. Don’t apply to a school just because you can.

Thank you for chancing me let me see your stats so I can chance you

@emotionprelude I am majoring in biology and minor in neuroscience I want to be a neurosurgeon I need to do better

@emotionprelude Syracuse absolutely duke reach brown match I would try Dartmouth my cousin got in with a 2130 black an you have way better scores maybe Vanderbilt or Emory those are matches uchicago match because they love people who think outside the box and are a well rounded person. Insane ec Cornell match Princeton maybe reach try to increase your cr in sat because brown super scores but you are definetly getting into an Ivy League unc trade for notre Dane in my opinion nobody really has heard if Washu outside of their you could do so much better save your money northwestern match

i honestly dont see what school would deny you. you seem like the perfect applicant. ED to brown or northwestern is a definite acceptance in my opinion. good luck!

I think you have a good chance of getting accepted into those schools. However, in those top tier schools, there are a lot of applicants with similar test scores or GPA as yours. But you still have a good chance of getting in!
chance back please?

Well your scores are good and Ecs are quite good as well. If you can demonstrate your interest in your essays I think you have as good a shot as just about any other “Non-hooked” applicant. UNC Chappell hill is safety for sure. Cornell and Wash U / Wisconsin are probably matches, make sure to demonstrate interest at WashU… they get a lot of people applying there that are also applying to Ivies, and al; the other ivies are reaches for basically anyone.

Chance back?

I am not applying to all of the top-tier schools. I am in the midst of a college selection process and just by writing the college names here does not guarantee that I will apply to every single one of them. Personally I think that is why the Chance thread even exists, to listen to others’ opinions of my current stats and finalize my college list. And of course I have already done some prior research by visiting college fairs, talking to AO, and visiting the college websites. I’ve already ruled out many colleges to which I did not fit in. I hope you don’t misjudge me just because I’m applying to top-tier schools. I don’t go for the rankings. I go for these schools because of what these schools can offer me. I want to study in an excellent educational environment and that mostly exists in top-tier schools.

Honestly, one of the best things about your EC’s is that they have to do with your choice of major. It shows that you’re very passionate about writing and communications and that you have starting prepping for it in high school. Also, your SAT score is impressive and so is your GPA. I know for a fact that Columbia and Northwestern are great schools for your desired major, so you should definitely apply for those. You might have a pretty good chance at Northwestern if you choose to go ED.
Good luck and chance me back?

I suggest @emotionprelude apply early action their acceptance rate is at least 14% higher than their rd rates trust me I looked this up to make sure

Thank you for your suggestions! I definitely will put in a lot of time considering to which school I will apply ED, because it would increase my chances tremendously.
